The new patented pusher action and horizontal storage mechanism maintains a smooth and efficient operating procedure. The unit will receive batch sizes of between 1 – 20 items in one go. These currency sized pieces of paper are then horizontally compressed in the internal pouch, ensuring the maximum capacity can be stored during trading shifts. The pouch expands to the dimensions of your deposit, which means its total size is that of the compressed contents. The compact package is secure, portable and can display a unique bar code which aids tracking.
Security
Security has been key in the design of both of the new Counter Cache models. A number of safety devices have been built in to protect both your hard-earned cash and your staff. The new deposit drawer can only be opened far enough to deposit between 1 - 20 items and then a locking mechanism prevents any further outward movement. Once the items are deposited and the drawer has been closed, it cannot be re-opened until the contents have been plunged into the main unit. The whole concept of the new system makes the unit less prone to manipulation.
Optional Accessories
The Counter Cache Cash Management System is further enhanced and complemented by our range of optional accessories. Spare pouches not only provide a safer skim environment they also dramatically reduce the number of skims required and the time each skim takes. PVC Cards identify shift changes and can swiftly unblock note jams caused by product misuse.
A major advantage of the new Counter Cache design is the ease with which the internal receptacle can be interchanged. In the event of a significant change in operating procedure (i.e. in the transition from Prime Count – the outsourcing of Cash transportation and reconciliation to a third party provider back to in house store counting) the pouch can be swapped for the cassette system. The exchange is seamless and neither customer nor staff need lose valuable trading time.
Mounting Options
The Counter Cache unit is easily mounted at Point of Sale and various mounting options optimise space limitations. If changing over from the Basic or Classic models, mounting channel holes can be adapted and disruption minimised. Repairs or replacements can be carried out in seconds, negating the need for long periods of ‘down time’ and ensuring a continuation of trading. No need for expensive after hours call outs affording a swift continuation of what is often now a 24 hour trading cycle. The robust metal clad unit is always set way back under its adopted mounting surface. This not only means its profile is less prominent, obscuring it from view and making it less likely to be seen by potential thieves, it also reduces the opportunity to force removal of the complete unit by minimising leverage. Not completely hidden however, it is still visible enough to deter would be thieves if cash is not easily accessible.
